PS Series 3.5 HP Air-Cooled Chillers
PSA Series Air-Cooled Packaged Chiller includes a 3.5 hp scroll compressor in a compact footprint. This chiller features a unique enclosure design that simplifies service and maintenance and conserves valuable production floor space. Incorporate these chillers into your planned or existing production layout easily and effectively. PSA Series Packaged Chillers have an operating leaving fluid temperature range of 30°F to 65°F (-1°C to 18°C).
REQUEST A QUOTE Find a rep- An air-cooled packaged chiller can be a good choice when a machine or process requires dedicated cooling without relying on a central chilled-water system. Its self-contained configuration can also simplify integration into new or existing production layouts.
- Consistent process water temperature helps maintain repeatable cooling conditions for production equipment. Stable cooling can support more consistent process conditions and reduce temperature fluctuations that may affect production.
- Capacity control allows a chiller to adapt as process cooling demand changes rather than operating under the same conditions at all times. The PS Series incorporates hot-gas bypass capacity control to help manage cooling operation as load requirements vary.
- Glycol is used when lower process fluid temperatures require freeze protection. For the PS Series 3.5 HP Air-Cooled Chillers, glycol is required for fluid temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
- A compact packaged chiller can provide dedicated process cooling without occupying the space required by a larger central cooling installation. The PS Series is specifically designed with a compact footprint to conserve production floor space and fit into planned or existing layouts.
- Processors should consider the required cooling load, desired process water temperature, flow and pressure requirements, available floor space, facility utilities, and cooling requirements of the equipment being served.
