The line includes open chute drum dumpers, dust containment units, and vertical lift & dump units for extended dump heights. All equipment comes in various capacities and your choice of carbon, stainless, or aluminum material of construction.
REQUEST A QUOTE Find a rep- A drum dumper is useful when material stored in drums needs to be transferred into a material handling or production system. It provides a controlled method for lifting, rotating, and discharging drum contents into downstream equipment.
- A drum dumper mechanically lifts and rotates the drum to discharge material, reducing the need for operators to manually empty heavy drums. This can simplify material transfer when drums are regularly used to supply production equipment.
- Dust containment can be important when dumping materials that release dust or fines during transfer. A contained dumping configuration helps keep the material transfer process enclosed rather than discharging through an open chute.
- An open-chute configuration can be appropriate when straightforward material discharge is the priority, while a dust-containment configuration is better suited to applications where controlling dust during transfer is important. The appropriate configuration depends on the material and the requirements of the surrounding process.
- An elevated or vertical lift-and-dump configuration is useful when material must be discharged into receiving equipment positioned above a standard dumping height. The required discharge height should be based on the downstream equipment and plant layout.
- Processors should consider drum weight and dimensions, material characteristics, required discharge height, dust-control needs, receiving equipment, available space, and how the dumper will integrate into the overall material handling process.
