BD Series Batch Weigh Blenders

AEC's new BD Series Blenders feature operator-friendly controls that can store up to 50 recipes with three types of recipe entry: "EZ" mode, "Percentage" mode and "Parts" mode. Industrial mixing chambers coupled with an efficient design ensures homogenous bi-directional mixing of all components. BD blenders provide unmatched metering accuracy for up to eight ingredients, especially below 2%. Removable weigh hoppers provide quick color changes and drain tubes with slide gate for easy cleanout.


  • Allan Bradley PLC based control system with touch screen interface
  • Exclusive diamond design slide gate metering assemblies provide for 1/2% to 100% recipe range for free flowing pellet materials
  • Dual precision 1/10% span cantilever load cell weighing system
  • Safety-interlocked access system shuts off air and electricity if mixer door is opened
  • Adjustable slide gate stroke limiter provided for accurate metering of minor ingredients
